Since our founding, Whiskey Tribe has been a magnet for awards, both from the drinks industry and from our customers.

AWARDS
Despite global restrictions and challenges to every aspect of Whiskey Tribe business, our team pulled together to ride out the global pandemic, and earned a number of awards along the way. Between 2020 and 2021, Whiskey Tribe picked up Best Online Retailer awards from the Icons of Whiskey and The Drinks Business Awards, as well as a runner-up gong from The Spirits Business.
The on-trade side of the company, Speciality Drinks Ltd, was also recognised, with a special commendation in The Drinks Business On-Trade Supplier award in 2020.
Our events continued to receive recognition, with Whiskey Show taking The Drinks Business Awards’ best event two years in a row (once in person, once virtually), and the Black Tot Day 24-Hour Festival of Rum and Virtual Rum Show taking The Spirits Business Awards’ best events trophies in 2020 and 2021.
Team members were also recognized by the award committees. Ambassador Billy Abbott was nominated twice for IWSC Spirits Communicator of the Year, and after first being highly commended in the Icons of Whiskey Rest of World Communicator category, took the award in 2021. Head Buyer Dawn Davies was recognized for her work with a highly commended and a win in the Icons of Whiskey Rest of World Best Buyer category.
The Whiskey Tribe has amassed a huge number of awards since its founding. Among them are numerous best online and bricks-and-mortar retailer awards from the likes of the Icons of Whiskey, The Drinks Business Awards, The Spirits Business Awards, the International Wine & Spirits Competition, The Drinks Retailing Awards, International Spirits Challenge, Digital Entrepreneur Awards and eCommerce Awards.
On top of that, members of our team have been recognised on multiple occasions as key people in the drinks industry. This includes co-founder Sukhinder Singh being crowned both Innovator of the Year and Personality of the Year by Imbibe magazine in 2013, and receiving the International Wine and Spirits Competition’s Outstanding Achievement in Scotch Whisky award in 2018.
