About The Macallan Distil Your World New York Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The Macallan distillery from Scotland has been around for about two centuries now and in that time, it excelled in the art of making one of the best single malts in the world. Now, it seems to be looking for new challenges, such as capturing the taste of certain parts of the world in its exquisite single malt.
In collaboration with the Roca brothers, they created a limited edition Distil Your World series, aimed to document certain parts of the world: to capture the spirit, the essence, and the senses of a specific place and translate it into a Single Malt.
For The New York edition, Polly Logan, The Macallan Whisky Maker, and Michelin star chef Joan Roca found inspiration in the art, creativity, and dynamic culture of the city.
This exceptional single malt has matured in a combination of American and European oak casks, selected to reflect the flavors that define New York, such as apple, peanut brittle, and white chocolate. There were only 1,000 bottles of this single malt produced.
