For the Exceptional Cask series, each cask has been hand-selected for its outstanding qualities by one of the Macallan Whisky Makers, this particular cask was by Sarah Burgess who was captivated by the senses of the cask.
This truly exceptional single malt has been aged for 25 years in European Oak Sherry Hogshead casks before being bottled non-chill filtered and at cask strength at an ABV of 51.4% in October 2018.
