Grand Vintage Malt 1997 from the Bond House No. 1 Collection is a Highland single malt Scotch that was distilled in 1997.
Initially matured in ex-bourbon casks for a decade, the whisky spent an additional 13 years in red wine casks from Château Montrose in Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, developing fruity dark berry aromas and tastes. Then, the whisky was blended with a spirit that was aged in ex-bourbon, sherry, and other, secret casks.
