About O.F.C. Vintage 1994 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Buffalo Trace dates back to 1775. With its rich history of continuous operation, it’s no wonder that they have plenty of really old whiskey maturing in their warehouses.
O.F.C. takes its name after the Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, as Buffalo Trace was named in 1870. Releases from this series are matured for much longer than the 2 years required for straight bourbon, usually spending more than 2 decades in their oak casks.
O.F.C. Vintage 1994 was distilled in the same year that saw the release of movies such as Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, and The Lion King. Then, the whiskey spent 25 years patiently maturing before being bottled in 2019.
The 4th release from the series is a rare and highly collectible bourbon that was limited to 1,085 bottles. Fittingly, O.F.C. Vintage whiskeys come in a beautiful crystal decanter with real copper lettering.
