Marking a focal point in Louisville, Kentucky, Angel’s Envy Distillery is downtown’s first fully operational whiskey production establishment.
It represents the coming together of three Henderson generations, where the late Master Lincoln Henderson helped set everything on the right track and make the distillery what it is today.
The folks at Angel’s Envy team select exceptional barrels from its distillery warehouse, which undergo a prolonged finishing process in port wine casks from Portugal, endowing each expression with a one-of-a-kind nose, palate, and finish.
The Cask Strength Bourbon 2022 Release is no exception. Its 11th arrival was spent cozily maturing for an additional 14 months in signature Portuguese casks, boasting creamy flavors with notes of caramel, brown sugar, and dried fruit. Finally, it clocks in at 119.8 proof and is ready to go wherever it is most needed or desired.
