About William Larue Weller 2019 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
The 2019 release is an uncut and unfiltered wheated bourbon that was distilled in 2007 from Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat, and North Dakota malted barley.
It then spent 12 years and 6 months in its charred American oak casks on the 2nd and 3rd floors of warehouse I. Bottled at 128 proof in 2019, the bold and flavor-packed spirit won a Gold Medal at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition.

Tasting Notes
The nose is rich, creamy, and sweet with vanilla, caramel, and nutty pecan aromas. The palate is bold with toasted vanilla, oak, and coffee, culminating in a long finish with lingering oak, cherry, and dark chocolate notes.

Is William Larue Weller worth it?
It’s every bit as rich and enjoyable as William Larue Weller has become known for, and few wheated bourbons can match it pound for pound. The palate is again anchored by dark spices, but instead of stewed fruits on the palate, holiday and mulling spices take the lead.
