About Ardbeg Ardcore Committee Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Ardbeg Committee is the largest of some 140 committees on the Scottish island of Islay. With over 120,000 global members, the Ardbeg Committee serves the common purpose of celebrating Ardbeg whisky through a series of limited-edition whisky releases.
Each year, Ardbeg releases a limited-edition whisky in time for the celebration. Ardcore was launched as a companion whisky for the 2022 celebration, marking the first time that the distillery has used black malt, as they state, “roasted to the extreme.”
The single malt was bottled without chill-filtration at 100.2 proof and packs a punch of charcoal, sweet smoke, aniseed, and dark chocolate notes. Originally available exclusively to Committee members, the Islay Scotch is now available right here.
