About Cazcanes No.7 Añejo Tequila
Named after the Caxcan ― the last indigenous Mexicans to be conquered by the Spaniards ― Cazcanes Tequila produces high-quality artisanal spirits that are based on an ancient recipe found in a jungle still.
The tequila is made with artesian well water from deep underground and blue Weber agaves that grow in volcanic soil and are only harvested once they have reached full maturity.
Crafted using traditional methods, the pinas are cooked, and crushed, then left to ferment with wild yeast. Finally, the juice is distilled using alembic stills. The No.7 Añejo expression rests in American white oak casks for an extended period of time before being bottled at 80 proof.
