A beautifully-presented set of Japanese single malts, both finished in Caribbean rum casks for up to 12 months. The set contains one bottle from the Yoichi distillery and one from Miyagikyo, both owned by Nikka.
For fans of the tropical influence of rum, Nikka brings you this wonderful, 2017 rum-finished Miyagikyo single malt and 2017 Yoichi rum finished single malt twin pack.
Only 3,500 bottles of this and the rum-finished Yoichi release are available.
The Miyagikyo’s playful, fruity character is enhanced and complimented by the sweet rum base imparted from the wood. A fruity, rich, and satisfying experience awaits.
The Yoichi displays Caramel and orange chocolate with the Yoichi smoke and powerful oak delivering a stellar balance, a rich, satisfying mouthfeel, and a long, long finish.

Open, dry, first nose – leather goods; fresh boards, lemon peel, leather goods, mineral notes – stone chips, mineral water, drying plaster; flower and honey shades, a little carpentry workshop, industrial textiles. With water it blooms, it becomes fresher, lighter, drier and more mineral, with tropical and creamy notes.

Powerful, rich, many oak, lemon zest, sweet syrup notes, pepper wave, vanilla, camphor, ether, leather goods, wax, polish, knitting young bark, herbal tones. With water, it loses its primary pressure, it becomes more calm and lazy.

Spicy, warming, oak, a little astringent bark, lemon wedge in tea, bergamot, candied citrus. With water a little more airy, sweeter.
